Tom Tancredo to Announce Presidential Bid on Right Wing Radio

Rep. Tom Tancredo will make it official Monday. He's running for President.

Like other presidential candidates using alternative forums to break the news that they are seeking the Oval Office, Tancredo, the anti-illegal immigration stalwart, is choosing the medium that has given him a home for almost a decade. "We're looking at a day of announcements on talk radio," a source close to the campaign said. "That's where the conservative movement has made its mark. That's where our people get their news."

So, Tancredo supporters get their news from right-wing talk radio, not the Denver Post, the Rocky Mountain News, the New York Times or even conservative blogs. How myopic. Then again, so is his vision for America. Does he even have a position on issues other than immigration?

He was very early among republicans to suggest Alberto Gonzales' resignation.

Eh, what am I thinking.  Gonzales is Hispanic.

Rove never needed proof for his smear machine, why should I.

To set the record staright Tancredo  has never been, and never will be, welcome in the Bush WH because of his immigration position. That's the bone he has with the AG.

You can't help lying, can you. Unlike you, I do not use Rove as a model for my behavior. Your relentless use of my quote out of  context shows how utterly dishonest you are.

Is George Wallace another one of your heros along with Tancredo and Rove?

    You said you do.

Am I to believe you or your comments???

The quote is accurate and your defense has been that you only do it against Rove.... Huh?

You just did it against Tancredo. You have absolutely no facts that show that Tancredo is a racist. That was just a smear. Period. End of report.

You are as easy to catch as a one legged rabbit.

I do not need to defend myself against your obvious lies. The record speaks for itself. My quote had zero to do with emulating the smear tactics of Rove as you would have it by quoting me out of context.

The context was Rove and Rove alone, obviously one of your heros. Your reframing of my quote is a lie, and hardly unintentional at that.

    Nothing new.

Allow me to help you understand Tancredo's quote: "That's where our people [are forced to] get their news [because the MSM is too corrupt to report on illegal immigration matters from an honest perspective and will do everything in their power to ignore me because I would cost their supporters money and power]."

As for the Denver Post or the New York Times, well...
