Lou Dobbs Considering a 2012 Presidential Run

Former CNN anchor Lou Dobbs says he is considering a 2012 Presidential run. In the meantime, he may seek the Senate seat of Democrat Robert Menendez.

The only way I see for Dobbs to run for President is on a third party ticket. Maybe he'll bring Sarah Palin or Tom Tancredo along for the ride...into oblivion.

    Palin did not give a speech during her stop Monday at Fort Bragg, home of the Army's 82nd Airborne Division and Green Berets. The former Alaska governor promised to limit her enthusiasm after the Army worried Palin's appearance would prompt political grandstanding against President Barack Obama.

    Army officials said more than 1,200 people lined up outside a Fort Bragg store where Palin signed copies of her new memoir. She waved and greeted some supporters before walking inside.

    Several military personnel craned to take photos of Palin as she arrived.

    which is the only explanation I can imagine for three so-improbable things all coming at me in less than an hour today:

    -- the poor guy who finds out he is Manson's son;

    -- Lou Dobbs thinking he is presidential material;

    -- my daughter, the one who had to drop out of college owing to her chronic health condition in a couple of ways (constantly getting sick or screwed up by meds changes had effects on her grades, plus then she was heading to 25 and going off our insurance, and we couldn't afford the cost of a non-group plan with what her pre-existing condition did to the premiums, nor could we afford the meds without coverage) . . . the one who then worked so hard in her career but in an industry that got hit hard by this economy, so she got laid off . . . the one who then got the grit to get back in school, first at a voc school where she did so well that she then got back in college this fall . . . that daughter called to report that she got 100 on a term paper.  A HISTORY paper.

    No full moon, so what is the explanation?  Did the earth shift on its axis today?  Am I in some parallel universe? :-)
