John Edwards: Judge Holds Conference on Potential Juror Issue

Uh-oh. No, I don't think it's the flirting juror. It sounds like some jurors have discussed the case in a small group. The judge held a closed meeting with counsel for 35 minutes today and then sent the jury home with a stern warning:

"All of your deliberations should take place while you are in the jury room and together," Eagles said. "Don't discuss the case in small groups."

Is this related to the coordinated clothing? Four alternates and 2 jurors wore bright red shirts today.

The judge will start court early on Tuesday and make take up the issue again then. If an alternate gets on, the jury has to start deliberating all over. What's transpired so far doesn't count.

my three defendants and I all wore red one day. I did not realize we did. So I asked "my guys.". They did to sow strength and power. As they were or had been law enforcement officers and had alledly overreached, their attire was at cross purposes w/ my "theme,". But, fortunately, we prevailed.

I'm really asking is if anyone knows anything particular about the jurors who wore the red and what their solidarity position, if you will, might be.

"What color shirts do we all have one of?"

Could be meaningful, but odds are it was just a stunt by bored and frustrated people to lighten up the day.  Odds are high it means zippo.

Drawing on the feminine side of me, my heart just bleeds for Liz. The worst person in the world doesn't deserve the hand she was dealt. And, I've got the guy who, while he couldn't have cured her cancer, doubled down on her misery, and, he's right here in front of me.

BTW, I don't believe he should be found guilty of campaign fraud. but, that's another story.
