Last week, a North Carolina teacher was suspended after she slapped a student over a saggy pants dispute in June.

But the award for the most absurd comment goes to the Mayor of Dunn, NC, who's trying to get an ordinance passed against saggy pants because he says they are dragging down the town's image:
