The cold open from last night's Saturday Night Live. Tina Fey, as usual, nails Sarah Palin. She mostly uses Palin's own words.

Others she rearranges, such as "The cops are busting our kids for doing no more than committing crimes."

The inevitable immigrant bashing contribution: "We've been replaced by immigrants like Geraldo River-a (mispronounced as the word River with an ah sound at the end.)

Almost at the end, she says, "I don't really think this guy should be President. I'm just here cause he promised me a spot in his Cabinet. And I deserve to be in a cabinet because I'm full of spice and I got a great rack.

The faux Trump guy mocks her as she's speaking. After saying she's a nut a few times he says she sounds like a greeting card from a Chinese dollar store.

She ends with "G-d bless some of the United States of America."

Tina Fey plays the only version of Sarah Palin, the real one included, that doesn't make you gag while viewing.

As for Trump, I don't think anything will top Jon Stewart on the Daily Show in 2011 mocking Trump taking Palin out for NY pizza which he eats with a fork. Here's the full 7 minute segment from Comedy Central.

a parody, but Tina Fey does it. Darrell Hammond does a very good Trump. Tina's cardigan had a little more tinsel exaggeration, but Darrell did not wear the navy blue overcoat, just the usual suit. I would have had him in an over-sized, Russian-style overcoat--maybe one borrowed from his "veterans" ad, but in navy.

me genuinely laugh about Palin. Otherwise it is all just infuriatingly stupid, not funny stupid, to me.

This woman has a thousand stupid cliches in her head and when she opens her mouth it's like they are all escaping a night club fire.

Actually I think it was exactly the same jacket Dan. Fortunately WalMart still had it in stock.

Doesn't really explain why she had previously worn the same sweater in a solo sit down interview as shown in that CNN thing I linked too. But whatever.
