ICE Raids: Exercise Your Rights

Know Your Rights Guides:

"If you got a warrant, I guess you're gonna come in" (at 2'53" in)

Not necessarily. It has to be a warrant signed by a judge. An administrative warrant issued by an immigration official (including an immigration judge) is not a valid warrant that grants anyone authority to enter your home. See the guides below, which have examples of valid vs. invalid warrants for entry into your home:

Refuse to answer what happens if a child happens to be out of the house and comes home to find their parents gone.

Sweet Muscular Jesus how how can this go on.

It struck me that the entire Pence show was orchestrated to show only brown skinned men in cages.  Hardly an accident.  Trump fans are going to love seeing hundreds of them shoved into cages so crowed they could even sit, forget lay, down

I noticed Pence seems to have started using Trumps orange makeup.  That would be a ridiculous suggestion if it was anyone but Pence.

Mother's requirement that he not observe any  women in cages for... reasons. Only sweaty men.  And, I think that is quite alright with Pence.

Was pure PR.  They don't care that much how "successful" these raids are.  Where will they even put them.  The entire point is to terrorize anyone who looks like they might be "illegal".

that sharing legal information is not the same as giving legal advice. Legal advice pertains directly to the details and circumstances of a particular individual's own situation.

As far as ICE I said a week ago it was never about arrests it was about terrorizing brown people.

North Carolina is likely to qualify as domestic terrorism. Trump will rile up the deplorables with his House condemnation for racist tweets.  Trump will pretend to take great pride in being viewed as a racist. And, beating Pelosi.

If it's what Democrats say it is, I love it.

There will be great danger for the squad I fear, not unlike that North Carolina guy who got in his truck, drove 300 miles to Washington, D.C., and shot up the pizza parlor.  All to save those children being abused in the basement of the basement-less restaurant-- as he was told by right wingers.

They all already get death threats almost every day.

We should not delude ourselves it would make any difference.  Except his poll numbers might go up.  As they did this week.

FSM, they are now spinning this as a victory for tRump, it was racist as hell of course but it sure puts the Democrats in disarray.

They claim that he has succeeded in making "The Squad" the face of the party, while they do everything under the sun to make it so.

One of the pundits even said that Pelosi was "forced" do stand up for them. I guess she was supposed to deport them or something.

a little, but they will likely fall back to his plateau of 43 percent.  On the other hand, thanks to Trump, Republicans probably won't get much of the black or brown vote for the next 100 years. That is probably why Republicans are opposed to conception control, the last and great white hope. The spin sounds pretty desperate---the Republican death rattle.
