    One of my all time favorite songs! It applies to so many areas of life.

    It could be the defunding theme song.

    new to me used nano ;) I don't collect and keep a list in my head of MY music like my daughter seems to do for hers.

    all the events of my life. My brain seems to just do it automatically on a level beyond thinking. For me the songs describe the general in which life events are the specific instances.

    If that makes any sense...

    what you said made no sense to me.  She has songs too that go along with certain life events she has experienced.  If you want to know where she is with her personal relationship just listen to the song she plays most often in her bedroom.  Until I hit the youtube play button I completely forgot that I have always loved Tom Petty and if I don't put it on my nano today I will have forgotten it by tomorrow ;).
